The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS), in collaboration with the Institute of Creativity (IoC), hosted a Proposal Building Workshop for Transdisciplinary Research Collaboration by Prof. Theng Yin Leng from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The workshop attracted a diverse audience of colleagues and PhD students from various disciplines, including history, religious studies, philosophy, geography, sports and health sciences, and translation.

Prof. Theng shared her expertise on how researchers at various career stages can uniquely contribute to collaborative projects, strategies for effectively uniting individuals around a shared idea, and essential tips for crafting successful grant proposals while avoiding common pitfalls. The event provided invaluable insights into the dynamics of transdisciplinary teamwork, empowering participants to navigate complex collaborative projects effectively.
