Congratulations to Professor Ada Fung, Director of the Life Course Development Research Institute (LCDRI), on receiving the prestigious HKBU Knowledge Transfer Award 2025.
This award recognises Prof. Fung’s significant contributions to research and the impactful work of her team on the Hong Kong Vigilance and Memory Test. HK-VMT is an innovative diagnostic tool designed to distinguish early cognitive impairment in its pre-symptomatic phase from normal cognitive ageing in older adults, addressing a critical need in cognitive health research.
The Knowledge Transfer Award, sponsored by the University Grants Committee (UGC) Knowledge Transfer funding and administered by the Knowledge Transfer Committee (KTC) through the Knowledge Transfer Office (KTO), is presented to a project led by a Hong Kong Baptist University colleague or team that exemplifies outstanding value in community engagement through knowledge transfer.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Fung and her team for their dedication and commitment to advancing research with meaningful community impact.
