The Life Course Development Research Institute (LCDRI) at Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) visited the Ageing Research Institute for Society and Education (ARISE) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. The visit aimed to deepen research collaboration in promoting healthy and active ageing across the region.
“Our continued partnership with NTU ARISE strengthens both institutions’ commitment to improving brain and mental health in older people through interdisciplinary research.”
— Dr. Ada Fung, LCDRI Director
Led by Dr. Ada Fung, Director of LCDRI, the HKBU team included core organizing team members Dr. Jing Shao, Dr. Vincent Lee, Dr. Bjorn Tam, and Dr. Gilbert Lam. The team was inspired by the positive impact of the I-SING program, which promotes intergenerational engagement and digital inclusion among older adults. With shared enthusiasm, LCDRI expressed its excitement to serve as a major collaborative site for the forthcoming phase.
LCDRI looks forward to further strengthening its partnership with NTU ARISE to jointly advance ageing and brain health research and contribute to regional efforts supporting healthy longevity.
